Gamescom 2018 was a special show for First 4 Figures in and of itself solely because it was F4F’s first time as a major exhibitor at the event. But for Gamescom 2019, F4F needed to up the ante to keep things fresh and continue to impress! And so, for this year’s show, First 4 Figures revealed a gaming license, the first statue for that license, and put that statue up for order all to coincide with Gamescom 2019! It’s a momentous occasion to be sure—but is the Gears 5 Kait Diaz statue itself worthy of such fanfare?
Continue Reading →Press day is behind us and the first official day of GamesCom 2019 has arrived! And once again, this contention serves as the flagship show for First4Figures, who have brought along a number of world premieres to share at the event (as well as revealing and launching pre-orders for their Gears 5 Kait Statue)! And first up is an oldie but a goodie, as the Lord of Shadows himself makes his public worldwide debut: the Castlevania Symphony of the Night F4F Dracula Statue is in the house (or rather, “on the con floor”)!

But take heart, F4Fans–the shining rainbow of high-end statue collecting livestream light is back this week with the F4F Q&A #84! What news and reactions will the chiefs bring back from Germany? Let’s find out…

One is the most anticipated First4Figures reveal of all from the show—the new Okami Amaterasu PVC that will go up for sale on the F4F website around the end of 2018. And the other is a quick look at the layout of the F4F booth from those who couldn’t attend the event…
Continue Reading →It’s a bittersweet Friday for First 4 Figures fans, as while we’re all thrilled about F4F making another grandiose appearance at GamesCom 2018, it comes at the sad cost of there not being a weekly Q&A livestream (for only the fourth time since the Q&A’s inception). But hey—F4F revealed quite a few new products at the show, so no Q&A to recap? No problem! Time for the (hopefully first annual) First 4 Figures GamesCom Reveals Recap, spotlighting the new Amaterasu, Spyro, Solid Snake and Ornstein PVCs and more!
Continue Reading →GamesCom 2018 has been a “PVC Coming Out” party of a sort for First 4 Figures, who simultaneously are revealing and selling PVC statues for heir first time ever at a major event. But GamesCon hasn’t been all about PVCs on the F4F reveals from, as the company also brought along a pair of previously-unannounced resins to display for the first time ever: “Mini” Aku Aku Mask 1:4 scale statue companion pieces to the classic Crash Bandicoot Statue!

But F4F always learns from their mistakes and grows from them, which is why they’ve reopened pre-orders for all in-production items for GamesCom 2018, and also debuted some brand new affordable PVCs at the event—including the Solid Snake SD and SD Ornstein figures!
Continue Reading →Ever since First 4 Figures announced the acquisition of the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon licenses from Activision in Spring 2017 (and subsequently revealed the Crash PVC figure), fans have been begging for a Spyro PVC figure. And while CEO Alex Davis was able to play coy for many months, he finally confirmed this summer that a PVC Spyro was on the way. And via a Facebook video in the F4F OCC Facebook Group on the eve of Gamescom 2018, the the purplest PVC dragon has now been revealed—including a Spyro PVC Exclusive Version with Sparx!

As such, I’ve been a little, well, “out of the loop”, as to what’s going on in the First 4 Figures world! But when I saw that the Okami Divine Descent statue was going up for order today in Definitive and Exclusive Editions, I figured it was time to tune in to the latest episode of F4F LIVE and Unplugged to get up to date and learn the answers to such pressing questions as:
WHAT ever happened to the Spyro Ripto’s Rage PVC?
WHEN will Conker be shipping out to collectors in the US?
WHO has joined the F4F team in the agency’s BOGO Sale?
WHY has progress been so slow on Yu-Gi-Oh?
IS a new version of Alucard in development?
AND did someone say “Darksiders”….?
