Sometimes, things are just meant to be. How else could you explain the fact that—over 32 months after going up for sale—the 1:4 First4Figures Varia Suit Samus Statue has finally been released and is in the first collector’s hands… within 24 hours of the next Metroid piece in the line making its grand debut! The F4F Meta-Ridley Statue will go up for order later today—and we can get a pretty good idea of how amazing the quality is going to be from these in-hand photos and impressions of Varia Suit Samus…

A tragedy almost occurred last year, when sluggish sales on the First 4 Figures Fighter Kirby statue almost led to the premature death of the figure series. But fans rallied for a release of an iconic version of Kirby that would be the definitive Kirby statue many collectors were asking for, and F4F listened: the First4Figures Warp Star Kirby Exclusive statue is now up for order! How long was this piece in development? What were the hardest parts of making it? How many cans tall is this statue? All these questions and more answered in the F4F Making of Warp Star Kirby Documentary and Q&A Recap!
Continue Reading →If there’s one thing I love more than looking at and talking about upcoming statues, it’s actually receiving and unboxing them and adding them to my collection. It’s been a long time since I received a new resin statue from First4Figures, but I was blessed to have the F4F Fighter Kirby Exclusive Statue I ordered last year from the F4F website turn up on my doorstep a few weeks ago. Does this statue of the hero of Dreamland meet all my lofty dreams for it? Read on…
Continue Reading →2017 has been the biggest year ever for First 4 Figures—and when I say “BIG”, it’s impossible not to think of their girthiest statue to date: the biggest bad in the Mario Universe, Bowser! I was among the first people in the world to see the F4F Bowser Statue at New York Comic Con 2017 last month, and I’ve been sitting on tons of hi-res photos of the bad boy ever since! With the F4F Bowser Statue now officially up for order and the ordering procedure being a bit different from the norm, I figure now is the time to share my photos of Bowser and an Ordering FAQ for THE BEAST…
Continue Reading →2017 has been a banner year for First4Figures, and their most-anticipated and best-selling piece of all this year is their Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask prop replica. Fans have been waiting all year for Nintendo to approve the delayed statue, and the time has finally arrived! But that’s not all—the exclusive Majora’s Mask statue will be available for order again for Last Chance Weekend this weekend! Read on for all the revisions and details…
Continue Reading →World of Nintendo Series 2-5 didn’t exactly get amazing distribution (to say the least), leaving 4” figures like Lakitu and Inkling Girl near-impossible to find for many collectors (although both are available online for a mild markup). Hopefully the next series won’t suffer the same distribution woes, though, because it features characters most collectors are going to want, including Iggy Koopa, Mario Maker Mario, and… is that BOTW Link?!

In this week’s F4F Q&A #36, we learned all about the revisions to the F4F Snake statue that goes up for order this week on the site (for real this time!), as well as the neon green Stealth Snake, the status of the BOTW Sheikah Slate, an update on Reala & Aika, and more!
Continue Reading →The longest-running weekly Q&A live chat with a statue company ever continued this week with the 8/11/17 First 4 Figures Q&A #32! I’ve been pretty busy the past month reporting on my other blogs about various collectibles shown at San Diego Comic Con 2017, but I finally got some free time this week to tune in and hear Alex Davis and Tsoek Cheung discuss the upcoming blind pre-order for their Bowser statue, tease big news at New York Comic Con 2017, fully reveal the Samurai Champloo Mugen statue going up for order next week and more!
Continue Reading →If you’re like me, you hang on to every smallest morsel of F4F information that your brain can absorb. But with the advent of the weekly First4Figures Q&A Chat, it’s become really difficult for collectors who don’t have two hours or more each week to listen to the Q&A. And so, during the weeks when I have the opportunity to do so myself, I want to start recapping the Q&A here with every tidbit that my little fingers can jot down during the chat session. I encourage everyone to watch the full Q&A chat video if they have the time to do so, but if not, here’s a compilation of some of the tastiest nuggets from the 6/30/2017 F4F Q&A #26…
Continue Reading →If someone held me at bow-and-arrow-point and demanded to know what my favorite collectibles company going today is, I wouldn’t have to think very much before replying “First 4 Figures”. First4Figures has been making high-end video game statues and collectibles for over a decade now, and the various resin Sega and Nintendo statues I have from them are among my absolute favorite toys that I own. But F4F is trying something new in 2017, as they jump into the PVC statue market with their 10″ Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Link statue. Does the trademark F4F quality carry over to this new style? Read on for my review…
