Earlier this year, I made an article to promote the interest poll posted by First 4 Figures CEO Alex Davis for a Modern Amy Rose Statue. That poll ultimately was a success—and now an Amy Rose Statue is officially in development! But when I shared that article, I was surprised to see just how many fans chimed in to say that they didn’t want Amy, but would definitely support a Blaze the Cat statue instead. And now you’ve got your chance to possibly make that a reality: an official poll gauging interest for a Sonic the Hedgehog Blaze statue is now open and awaiting supporting!

While Sonic the Hedgehog fandom is frequently split on relatively recent additions to the Sonic family such as Silver the Hedgehog and Sticks the Badger, there’s one new character who’s almost universally loved: Blaze the Cat!

Hailing from an alternate dimension, Blaze is a fire-wielding pyrokinetic Princess and Guardian of the Sol Emeralds. Calm, elegant and well-mannered, Sonic gamers instantly took a liking to Blaze the Cat. And now, she’s got a chance to be strongly considered for her first piece of high-end merchandise ever!

Given that First4Figures is the Master of Light-Up statues, I’ve a feeling they could do some incredible things with Blaze’s fire abilities!

Things have changed a bit since that the Modern Amy Rose poll that was created at the end of 2017, and now First4Figures needs to see slightly more support in order to seriously look into the development of a Blaze the Cat statue.

And so, whereas Amy Rose’s poll succeeded at 500 votes, the official Blaze poll requires 550 votes. That means a bit more support will be needed, but not such a larger amount that it’s unobtainable. As of writing there are 291 votes–more than half what’s necessary–so there’s just 259 to go! You can do it, Blaze the Cat fans!

Here’s a quick two-step guide on how to help make an F4F Blaze the Cat statue a reality:

1) Join the official First 4 Figures Collector’s Club Group on Facebook. This official F4F page is regularly visited by the CEO of the company, who contributes basically every single day, answering questions and interacting with fans. This step is necessary in order to access step 2. It takes about 1-2 minutes in general for someone to approve your request to join the group. You can leave the group immediately after voting, but you have to be in the group temporarily in order to vote.

2) Vote in the Official Blaze the Cat Poll. In order to vote in the poll, you must—at least temporarily—be part of the F4FCC. In order for First 4 Figures to consider seriously producing Blaze, the benchmark set by CEO Alex Davis is to achieve at least 550 “Yes” votes (the number of “No” votes is inconsequential).

I would also like to implore anyone who strongly would like a Blaze the Cat statue to spread this post (just copy and paste the URL) with its helpful voting instructions to your Blaze-loving friends and family, whether by E-Mail, reddit, Facebook, Twitter, or social media. With less than 260 more votes necessary for one of the most popular female Sonic characters ever (if not the single most popular female Sonic character ever) to be seriously considered for a statue for the first time ever, the future is looking bright!

…And that’s all! 550 or more votes of support, and a large, high-end statue of the feline pyrokinetic princess will have a legit chance of becoming a reality from one of the most renowned statue producers in the world! Good luck, Blaze fans!!
