It’s hard to believe, but we’re just one week removed from the one-year anniversary of First4Figures’ first-ever major convention appearance: New York Comic Con 2017! Sadly, Alex and Chock won’t be making the return trip to NYCC 2018 next week, but I have the privilege of bringing a little piece (okay, a lot of little pieces) of F4F to the fans in New York City myself next week—I’ll have F4F Wristbands and even coveted F4F pins to give out to OCC members at the show!

NYCC 2017 was a groundbreaking, legendary convention debut for First 4 Figures, with tens of thousands of people discovering the company for the very first time—and hundreds of F4F OCC Facebook Group members getting to meet their heroes Alex Davis and Tsoek Cheung at last!

But while it was a positive experience in many regards, it was also an extremely costly one that First 4 Figures ultimately lost a LOT of money on. And so, F4F didn’t put New York Comic Con 2018 on their list of convention appearances. Alas.

But while they didn’t plan to hit the Big Apple this year, First4Figures did attend two other conventions: ACGHK (where F4F wristbands debuted) and GamesCom 2018 (where F4F pins made their first appearance). The treasured pieces of First 4 Figures memorabilia that premiered at those conventions have never been available anywhere in the United States—until now!

When I attend New York Comic Con 2018 next week—I’m bringing supplies of the sought-after First4Figures pins and bracelets with me! These are not—and I repeat, NOT—for sale. All you gotta do is hunt me down at the convention and tap me on the shoulder or flag me down, and these holy grails can be yours!

As I attend New York Comic Con as press, I don’t have all of my meetings for the show quite finalized yet. But as of now, it looks like I’ll be wandering New York City from Wednesday October 4th 3PM EST until Friday October 6th 6PM EST, with most of my time spent on Thursday and Friday immediately at the Javits Center for NYCC. I’ll post a more specific schedule next week once I have my full schedule for the show.

I’ve got bright pink hair and one of only two Purple F4F Admin Hoodies in existence, so I shouldn’t be too difficult to spot at the show. And I’ll also be responding to Facebook messages as rapidly as possible, so if you’re desperately hunting for me on the floor to pick up some F4F swag, just PM me.

To date, I’ve never had an F4F OCC member stop me and talk to me at a convention, so I’m really looking forward to (hopefully) getting to chat up other F4Family members at the show! Hope to see many of you at New York Comic Con 2018 next week!
