World of Nintendo Series 2-5 didn’t exactly get amazing distribution (to say the least), leaving 4” figures like Lakitu and Inkling Girl near-impossible to find for many collectors (although both are available online for a mild markup). Hopefully the next series won’t suffer the same distribution woes, though, because it features characters most collectors are going to want, including Iggy Koopa, Mario Maker Mario, and… is that BOTW Link?!

Read on for my impressions and hi-res photos…

In actuality, I thought they were some sort of weird custom light-up Perler bead-like creations that first time I saw them. But when I saw that one of my old favorites, the Halo Master Chief was up for order in Pixel Pals form, I knew that I had to give the line a chance. Now that I’ve got my very own Halo Pixel Pals Master Chief in-hand, what do I think? Read on…

Despite being cancelled last year, First 4 Figures heard the fan outcry to give Zero another chance. And at NYCC 2017, the new Zero prototype made his grand debut…

Now, they’re not the biggest or fanciest sets in the world, but I think many fans will dig the Grunt Goblin Battlesuit (it’s about time!) and the Banished Banshee Brawl sets…
Continue Reading →Of all the First 4 Figures pieces that we knew would be making their debut at New York Comic Con 2017, the Life-Size Aku Aku Mask was the one I was the least hyped about. It’s not exactly iconic in the way that Majora’s Mask is, and with the rather simple design of the Aku Aku Mask, I just didn’t think it would be all that riveting. And then I saw it. And I was in love. Read on for the hi-res photos gallery and your chance to fall in love as well…

First 4 Figures is making their grandiose convention circuit debut in the United States this week at New York Comic Con 2017! But before Alex and Chockles unveil tons of new statues (and sign a bajillion autographs) at the show, there’s another matter to attend to: the exclusive F4F Soul Calibur II Taki statue is now up for order! Read on for the full FAQ, which includes details, photos, and the answers to pretty much every possible question you might have about this statue…
Continue Reading →Ironically enough, I actually did watch last week’s Q&A and jotted down all the answers, but I haven’t gotten around to typing it yet. I’ll have to circle back and post the answers from Q&A #38 soon, though, because this week was a huge week for 39th F4F Q&A, with Alex and Chockles revealing both the Soul Calibur II Taki statue going up for sale this coming week and also the first item in a brand new Dark Souls line! Let’s get straight into the recap…
Continue Reading →Earlier today, I posted my review of the Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Collector’s Edition Iron Man & Captain Marvel statues and Infinity “Gems” box on Marvel Toy News, but that’s only half the battle (okay, more like three-fifths of it, but whatever). The other two statues in the Collector’s Edition set are two of Capcom’s biggest icons, and also the figures I was most looking forward to in the box set. Do the Mega Man X and Chun Li statues meet my expectations?
