It’s hard to believe, but we’re just one week removed from the one-year anniversary of First4Figures’ first-ever major convention appearance: New York Comic Con 2017! Sadly, Alex and Chock won’t be making the return trip to NYCC 2018 next week, but I have the privilege of bringing a little piece (okay, a lot of little pieces) of F4F to the fans in New York City myself next week—I’ll have F4F Wristbands and even coveted F4F pins to give out to OCC members at the show!

We’ve been spoiled by a new First 4 Figures pre-orders every two weeks for much of 2018, but that streak came to an end because of the company’s attendance at GamesCom 2018 last month. But even though it’s a week later than usual, the latest pre-order has now arrived–and it’s something pretty special: The first-ever official F4F Partnerships resin statue goes up for order today: Sonic vs. Chopper! Plus: hundreds of collector questions will be answered, we’ll get updates on statues in production, and more!
Continue Reading →GamesCom 2018 has come and gone and is now in the history books, but before I can close the book on talking about GamesCom 2018 myself, I’ve got a few more things I want to discuss. One is the most anticipated First4Figures reveal of all from the show—the new Okami Amaterasu PVC that will go up for sale on the F4F website around the end of 2018. And the other is a quick look at the layout of the F4F booth from those who couldn’t attend the event…
Continue Reading →It’s a bittersweet Friday for First 4 Figures fans, as while we’re all thrilled about F4F making another grandiose appearance at GamesCom 2018, it comes at the sad cost of there not being a weekly Q&A livestream (for only the fourth time since the Q&A’s inception). But hey—F4F revealed quite a few new products at the show, so no Q&A to recap? No problem! Time for the (hopefully first annual) First 4 Figures GamesCom Reveals Recap, spotlighting the new Amaterasu, Spyro, Solid Snake and Ornstein PVCs and more!
Continue Reading →GamesCom 2018 has been a “PVC Coming Out” party of a sort for First 4 Figures, who simultaneously are revealing and selling PVC statues for heir first time ever at a major event. But GamesCon hasn’t been all about PVCs on the F4F reveals from, as the company also brought along a pair of previously-unannounced resins to display for the first time ever: “Mini” Aku Aku Mask 1:4 scale statue companion pieces to the classic Crash Bandicoot Statue!
Continue Reading →While First 4 Figures brought an armada of amazing statue reveals to New York Comic Con last year, what they didn’t really bring was anything to sell—ultimately making NYCC 2017 an EXTREMELY costly show. But F4F always learns from their mistakes and grows from them, which is why they’ve reopened pre-orders for all in-production items for GamesCom 2018, and also debuted some brand new affordable PVCs at the event—including the Solid Snake SD and SD Ornstein figures!
Continue Reading →Ever since First 4 Figures announced the acquisition of the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon licenses from Activision in Spring 2017 (and subsequently revealed the Crash PVC figure), fans have been begging for a Spyro PVC figure. And while CEO Alex Davis was able to play coy for many months, he finally confirmed this summer that a PVC Spyro was on the way. And via a Facebook video in the F4F OCC Facebook Group on the eve of Gamescom 2018, the the purplest PVC dragon has now been revealed—including a Spyro PVC Exclusive Version with Sparx!
Continue Reading →Every Friday is a treat for First 4 Figures collectors because of the gift that we’re given almost each and every week of a multi-hour livestream with F4F CEO Alex Davis and Lieutenant Chockles. But this week is extra momentous, as there’s not only a new statue going up for order–but for the first time ever, a statue that had been Vaulted and saved by the votes of fans on the F4F OCC Facebook Group is about to launch: the First4Figures Warp Star Kirby Exclusive Statue goes up for order today!
Continue Reading →It’s pretty rare in this day and age for a high-end resin statue to go from the pre-order stage to shipping to collectors’ doorsteps within a one-year timeframe. That’s why I’m surprised—and pleased!—that for the second time in two months, I can talk about a First 4 Figures statue that’s gone through from the PO stage to the doorstep phase in the same amount of time it takes for a real baby to go from conception to delivery: the first shipments of the F4F Soul Calibur Taki Statue that went up for order last October have started to arrive!
Continue Reading →It’s a huge week for the collecting world in general, as hundreds of new products are being debuted from dozens of collectibles companies at San Diego Comic-Con 2018. But while First 4 Figures isn’t attending SDCC 2018, that doesn’t mean that they don’t have a major event of their own going on, as the first-ever high-end resin Cowboy Bebop statue went up for order today: the F4F Cowboy Bebop Spike figure! And that’s not all–aside from the Spike statue launch, First 4 Figures CEO Alex Davis will be answering a spaceship-load of collector questions, update us on progress on statues going through production and more!
