Silver the Hedgehog is one of the most divisive characters in Sonic the Hedgehog history. Many people hate (HATE) Silver, while there are also quite a few who love him. I fall into the latter camp, as the character really won me over with his multitude of appearances in the Archie Sonic comics. And so, even though he’s not exactly a universally loved dude, I pulled the trigger day one and ordered my First4Figures Silver the Hedgehog Statue. 14 months later, he’s in my home. Earlier this year, I made an article to promote the interest poll posted by First 4 Figures CEO Alex Davis for a Modern Amy Rose Statue. That poll ultimately was a success—and now an Amy Rose Statue is officially in development! But when I shared that article, I was surprised to see just how many fans chimed in to say that they didn’t want Amy, but would definitely support a Blaze the Cat statue instead. And now you’ve got your chance to possibly make that a reality: an official poll gauging interest for a Sonic the Hedgehog Blaze statue is now open and awaiting supporting!

Some of the biggest—and most surprising—news going in New York Toy Fair 2018 this month was the announcement that Diamond Select Toys had obtained the license to produce Sonic the Hedgehog figures and statues. Coupled with the upcoming IDW Publishing Sonic the Hedgehog comic book, and it’s clear that a new day is dawning for the Blue Blue!
